Numis Trust API Documentation

Numis Trust is an institutional digital asset custody platform for organizations that need secure storage and management of cryptocurrency assets.

Platform Capabilities

• Custody Accounts — Secure multi-party accounts with configurable approval workflows
• Transaction Management — Initiate, approve, and sign transactions with quorum-based controls
• Ethereum Staking — Generate staking rewards on ETH holdings via Figment

Key Concepts

Clients

Your organization is represented as a Client. Each client has isolated accounts, users, and settings — completely separate from other clients on the platform.

Users and Roles

Within your organization, users operate with one or more of these roles:

• Initiator — Submits transactions and account creation requests
• Approver — Reviews and approves requests from initiators
• Client Administrator — Manages users, accounts, and organizational settings

Accounts

Assets are stored in custody accounts. Each account has a quorum setting that determines how many people must authorize a transaction:

• 3-person quorum — Initiator and two Approvers all required
• 2-person quorum — Initiator and one authorizer
• 1-person quorum — Single authorization

API Access

The Relay API provides programmatic access to custody operations. API users authenticate with a key and secret, and are granted specific permission scopes. See Authorization for details.
